Compared to a standard air-conditioned rack system, the CarnotJet™ is capable of reducing cooling energy consumption of a typical data center by 90-95%, and reducing total data center energy consumption by half.
We use GreenDEF™ coolant, which is a clear, odorless, non-toxic, and low-cost formulation of dielectric (non-conductive) white mineral oil optimized for cooling servers and other data center hardware.
Data center operators can build CarnotJet™ system data centers at a much lower cost because the system’s superior cooling capability means a reduction in both average and peak power consumption, and most build-out costs in a data center scale with peak power. Even compared to the world’s most efficient data centers built by top search engine companies, the CarnotJet™ system will still reduce average data center power by ~30% and reduce peak power by much more.
