Peter Poulin


Peter’s visionary role at GRC is founded on more than 30 years of experience in the technology industry. He spent the first half of his career helping Compaq Computer Corporation in a variety of sales, marketing, operational and management roles. He was also the VP of North American sales and marketing for APC, NetBotz and Virtual Bridges.

Prior to joining GRC, he was the CEO of Motion Computing, a rugged tablet manufacturer.

Peter holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University.

Jim Weynand

Chief Revenue Officer

Jim brings an impeccable record of developing complex B2B commercial solutions for some of the world’s leading data center technology providers and private equity consulting firms.

For the past three decades he’s helped companies like IBM and Compaq, Unisys, CEVA Logistics, SM & A, Check-6 and others scale up, boost sales, grow market share and develop innovative new products.

Jim holds a BBA in Administration and Marketing from the University of North Texas and is an alumnus of Babson’s F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business.

Laura Parsons


Laura’s experience with hardware technology companies, as well as those in start-up mode, is particularly relevant to her role at GRC. She began her career as Plant Controller for Chatsworth Products and was promoted to Operations Controller for all their facilities.

Laura then joined Supercircuits and managed the due diligence of their acquisition. She remained with the company and subsequently managed the acquisition of a competitor. She’s also held Controller/CFO roles at Cerilliant, Accurate, and multiple other companies.

Laura holds a BBA in Accounting (Magna Cum Laude) from Sul Ross State University.

Debra Dresser

Vice President of Operations

Debra started her career at the Amdahl Corporation working on their first liquid-cooled mainframe system. She has also held positions at Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab and Litton Amercom Space Systems Operations.

Prior to GRC, she provided strong operational leadership to companies like Xplore Technologies, Motion Computing, Augmentix and Dell.

Debra has an MS in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University and a BS in Industrial Engineering from Arizona State University.

Jerry Mayfield

VP of Customer Experience

40 years of industry experience has helped Jerry forge the memorable customer experiences our data center clients have come to enjoy.

Prior to GRC, he led various engineering and operations teams with Apple, Compaq Computer Corporation, Polycom, where he was the director of program management, and at Motion Computing, where he held the position of vice president of sustaining engineering.

Jerry has an AET degree from Denver Community College and a BAS in Business Administration from Our Lady of the Lake, San Antonio.

Alex McManis

Vice President of Engineering

Since starting with GRC in 2013, Alex has led groundbreaking design, development and installation projects ranging from spartan hyper-scale deployments to environmentally resilient, modular data centers for the Department of Defense.

His accomplishments led to his promotion to VP and leading our team of engineers. One of the foremost experts in immersion cooling, Alex has multiple patents, both granted and pending.

He holds a BS degree in Engineering Physics from University of Colorado. An avid traveler, he’s visited more countries than the number of trips he’s taken around the sun.
