Peter Poulin

CEO

Peter’s visionary role at GRC is founded on more than 30 years of experience in the technology industry. He spent the first half of his career helping Compaq Computer Corporation in a variety of sales, marketing, operational and management roles. He subsequently served in executive roles for datacenter infrastructure companies, including as VP of North American sales and marketing for APC, VP North American Sales for Schneider Electric, and VP Business Development for NetBotz (acquired by APC).

Peter holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University.

Ben Smith

Chief Product Officer

A seasoned global leader, Ben brings an impressive track record of executing business strategy and driving strong growth.

Prior to joining GRC, Ben helped APC and Schneider Electric develop transformative business initiatives that improved product quality, supply chain efficiency, and order-to-delivery lead times. Most recently, he served as Schneider Electric’s Vice President Data Center Cooling Systems.

Ben holds a BA degree from Castleton University (Castleton, Vermont) and a MS degree in Industrial Engineering/Operations Research from University of Massachusetts Amherst.

John Bean GRC CTO

John Bean, Jr.

Chief Technology Officer

John’s rich knowledge of data center infrastructure technologies makes him a tremendous asset to the GRC team. With expertise in IP development, he is well versed in advancing product portfolios, offer development, and accelerating commercial technologies to meet customer needs.

Prior to joining GRC, John spent nearly 20 years at Schneider Electric in roles of increasing leadership responsibility—ultimately leading multi-disciplined teams responsible for new technology and intellectual property development.

He is also the inventor/co-inventor of 48 U.S. Patents, along with several global patents, all focused on electrical, thermodynamic systems, controls, and cooling architectures. He currently serves as co-chair for the OCP Immersion Committee.

Mike Zimmerman

VP of Operations

Mike brings to GRC more than 30 years in the technology industry of optimizing global operations/manufacturing, supply chain and delivering market leading quality and services.

Prior to joining GRC, he has held various executive and operational leadership positions with Zebra Technologies, Getac Corporation, Gateway Computers, Compaq Computer and Motorola. He has served as the Chairman of the Gateway Foundation and Chairman of the Zebra Technologies Veterans Inclusion Group. He is a military Veteran (USMC) H&S Battalion – 1st, 5th, 7th, and 11th Division.

Mike holds a BBA in Business and International Marketing (Magna Cum Laude) from Northwood University – Midland, MI.

Gregg Primm

VP of Global Marketing

Gregg is a seasoned marketer, technical/marketing communications specialist, and marketing technologist. With over 25 years in the IT industry working in both large and small hardware and software companies, Gregg’s focus on marketing strategy, demand generation, content marketing, social media marketing, product and customer marketing, sales and marketing alignment, and customer success makes him especially well-suited to GRC’s top-notch team.

Prior to joining GRC, Gregg held positions with IBM, Netbotz, APC, and RF Code. In addition to his work with GRC, Gregg volunteers with a number of charitable organizations, and is especially proud to serve as a guild member for Extra Life, a gaming charity that raises funds for Dell Children’s Hospital and the Children’s Miracle Network.

Gregg holds a BA in English Literature from the State University of New York at Buffalo, and is also a Certified Master Instructor in Tang Soo Do Mi Guk Kwan.

Laura Parsons

Laura Parsons

Controller

Laura’s experience with hardware technology companies, as well as those in start-up mode, is particularly relevant to her role at GRC. She began her career as Plant Controller for Chatsworth Products and was promoted to Operations Controller for all their facilities.

Laura then joined Supercircuits and managed the due diligence of their acquisition. She remained with the company and subsequently managed the acquisition of a competitor. She’s also held Controller/CFO roles at Cerilliant, Accurate, and multiple other companies.

Laura holds a BBA in Accounting (Magna Cum Laude) from Sul Ross State University.
